Neurosurgical resolution of intraparenchymal cerebral hemorrhage secondary to an ophidian accident by Bothrops sp

Abstract
In Venezuela, the ophidian accident is a pathology that occurs with relative frequency. Hemorrhagic manifestation after by snakes of the genus Bothrops sp are common. However intracranial hemorrhage is not, fortunately, a daily occurrence, representing a low proportion although not an exceptional incidence. The case of a 13 year old female patient who presented a spontaneus intraparenchymal cerebral hemorrhage due to coagulopathy is presented, which benefited from a neurosurgical procedure.
