Abstract
Radiotherapy is one of the most widely used forms of treatment for the management of extra- and intracranial tumors. With the advent of this therapy, the complications of its use have also increased, including progressive leukoencephalopathy, arteritis, hypothalamic-pituitary axis insufficiency, among others, where meningiomas are the most frequent secondary tumors after its practice. We present the case of a 44-year-old male patient who presented a meningioma after radiotherapy management for the control of a medulloblastoma years ago. We also review the literature on the considerations to be taken into account in the approach to patients with this pathology.
